Coolify alternative

Unbroker is a Coolify alternative when you want the platform operated for you. Coolify is open-source software you can install, or a hosted control plane called Coolify Cloud, and in both cases you supply the servers that run the apps. Unbroker builds and runs services on its own platform, with optional managed databases and Linux cloud servers.

For a root virtual machine, see Linux cloud server hosting.

TopicUnbrokerCoolify
Who runs the platformUnbroker operates the control plane, the builds, and the app hosts. You install Coolify on a server you control, or you use Coolify Cloud, which Coolify operates. Applications still run on servers you connect over SSH.
What you pay forFree is $0: 1 project, up to 2 services, and 3 deploys per UTC day. Each service is capped at 250m CPU and 256 MiB, with 10 GB of outbound transfer a month. Free does not include persistent volumes, servers, managed databases, Beacon, Dockerfiles, or container images. Pro is $25 per month and includes $25 of usage credit for that billing cycle. The credit does not roll over. Usage above the credit is added to the invoice. Pro has unlimited members and no seat fee. Paid app CPU and memory follow the capacity you configure, for as long as the service is running. A quiet service and a busy one with the same settings accrue the same app CPU and memory charge. The self-hosted edition is open source. You still pay whoever provides the servers, and you pay for their disks, traffic, and failure. Coolify Cloud is a paid control plane. This page does not quote that price.
Operations you keepYou operate application code, environment, and, if you buy one, a Linux cloud server. You do not patch the PaaS.Coolify's own docs put operating-system updates, firewall, DNS, backups, and workload security on you. Self-hosting also means you update and restore the Coolify instance.
DatabasesYou can run a database image as a private Apps service, or provision a provider-operated managed cluster. The API supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Valkey, MongoDB, Kafka, and OpenSearch. The create flow shows which combinations the selected provider and region offer. Managed clusters require Pro, and recovery features depend on the engine and plan.Coolify can start database containers on the servers you connect. Those are not the same as Unbroker's provider-operated managed clusters. You own the disk and the restore drill.

Self-hosting is the product difference

Coolify is a control panel for servers you already have or are willing to rent and maintain. That is a good trade when the hardware, the network, and the backups are requirements you chose. It is a poor trade when the goal is to stop operating a platform.

Unbroker's Linux cloud servers do not make Unbroker into Coolify. A server is one machine you administer. The app platform around it is still hosted. If you want the panel on your own fleet, Coolify matches that sentence and Unbroker does not.

Questions

Is Unbroker a Coolify alternative?

Yes if you want a hosted PaaS instead of installing one. No if the point of Coolify is that the workloads stay on servers you control.

Is Coolify free?

The self-hosted software is open source. The servers it deploys to are not free, and Coolify Cloud is a separate paid control plane. Unbroker Free is $0 only inside the limits on this page.

Can I point Coolify at an Unbroker server?

An Unbroker Linux cloud server is a machine with SSH and root, so in principle it is the kind of host Coolify asks for. You would then operate both the server and Coolify. That is not how Unbroker Cloud Apps are meant to be used.
