Deploy

Deploy a Lovable app

Yes. Lovable hosts a published app: the Publish action puts a snapshot on a public URL, with HTTPS, and Lovable operates that hosting. A preview inside the editor is not the published site. To host the same project on Unbroker, export the code to GitHub and deploy that repository as a Cloud App.

Host the exported app on Unbroker

  1. In Lovable, connect the project to GitHub. Lovable documents Git sync on all plans, including two-way sync of the project code. A one-time zip download is documented as a paid-plan option. The export includes source and database migration files. It does not include the rows in the database or files in storage.
  2. Check which app you exported. Lovable's deployment notes say apps created from May 13, 2026 use TanStack Start and run server code, while older apps are React and Vite and build to static files.
  3. In Unbroker, create a service from that GitHub repository. Use the static recipe for a static build. Use a Node.js service, or a Dockerfile on Pro, for a server app. Private repository credentials, Dockerfiles, and custom domains require Pro.
  4. Put runtime configuration in the Unbroker service, not in the repository. If the app still depends on Lovable's database, storage, or connectors, move or replace those separately and verify them before you send traffic.
  5. Deploy, open the Unbroker URL, and confirm the page and any server route you rely on. You can keep Lovable editing the project through Git sync while Unbroker serves the copy you deployed.

What Lovable hosting covers

Lovable's hosting documentation says publishing is what puts the app on a public URL. Shareable preview links are a view of work in progress, and Lovable says they expire after 7 days by default. Hosting the published app is included in Lovable. It is not a separate hosting product you have to add.

Unbroker does not import a Lovable project directly. The path onto unbroker.cloud is the Git repository Lovable can sync, then a normal Cloud App deploy. That is the right path when you want the app on your Unbroker account, next to other services, logs, and a database you provision there.

Questions

Does Lovable host apps?

Yes. Publishing deploys a snapshot to a URL that Lovable hosts, with HTTPS. The editor preview and a preview share link are not that published site.

How do I deploy a Lovable app on Unbroker?

Sync the Lovable project to GitHub, then create an Unbroker service from that repository. Static Vite builds can use the static recipe. A TanStack Start app needs a service that runs the server. Database rows and uploaded files are not in the Git export.

Can I keep using Lovable after I host the app on Unbroker?

Lovable's external-hosting notes say you can keep Git sync connected so Lovable continues to edit the project while another host deploys from the repository. Features that still call Lovable, including its built-in backend, keep using Lovable.
